session 2 {jonah half sleeve}

i went and saw nate for another session a few weeks ago. we had a 6 hour session, where he re-inked the water and touched up the anchor. he also added what will eventually become a map with Ninevah, Joppa, and Tarshish. we talked a LOT during the session, which was wonderful. the last two hours, we had what must have been the irish drinking music station on pandora cranked all the way up. (i could feel the music it was so loud)

this tattoo is feeling more complete. i'm eager to get more done. the next session will be the plant (which caps my shoulder), and possibly the ship and stormy sky.

BFF day! (matching tattoos and body modification)

4 dermals in my back.

these are permanent piercings (they can only be removed by making a small incision in the skin, and pulling the jewelry out)

i'm super pleased with them!

i also got matching tattoos with my BFF jenn yesterday.

i had such a wonderful time spending the day with jenn. we went out for brunch, stopped at f21, ate the most amazing burgers, got tattooed, and then went and saw the hunger games!

session 1 {jonah half sleeve}

the story of Jonah has always been my favorite Bible story.

it's such a beautiful story of redemption.

i've wanted to have a half sleeve for a few years. yesterday, i started that journey.

this was session 1 of 3. my sleeve will have an anchor, plant, ship, stormy sky, jonah, whale and a few other things.
